Hypno-Link is an NDIS Provider (NDIS Number 4050008908) servicing both, adults and children over 12 years of age residing in South Australia.  Our specialised counselling, therapy and skills development programs for NDIS participants and carers are available in English or Polish.  We also provide domestic, gardening and maintenance support services for NDIS participants who are unable to attend to these tasks themselves.

HYPNO-LINK SERVICES FOR NDIS PARTICIPANTS

Hypno-Link is NDIS registered for therapy support, counselling, learning and skill development, community participation, innovative community participation, other community access, assistance with life transition, support coordination, behavioural / specialist intervention and mutual support / self-help groups.

These services are provided under the NDIS core and capacity building categories of Assistance with Daily Life, Assistance with Social and Community Participation, Improved Daily Living Skills, Innovative Community Participation, Increased Social and Community Participation, Finding and Keeping a Job, Improved Relationships and Support Coordination.

Hypno -Link offers services to assist with stress and anxiety management, confidence building, skill development, management of chronic health conditions, behavioural concerns and habits, such as continence issues, smoking, nail biting, skin picking or overeating.

We provide School Leaver Employment Support Program (SLES)  that encompass  motivational, confidence boosting and vocational preparation programs for young people to assist their readiness  for employment and further education.

We offer training for the development of effective interpersonal strategies in a variety of contexts and situations.

In addition to therapeutic and capacity building programs, we can provide support coordination services, assisting the NDIS participants to understand the NDIS processes, prepare for NDIS planning sessions and link in with other NDIS providers and community services.

As an NDIS participant you can access all services described on Hypno-Link website, providing your situation fits service specific eligibility criteria and match the NDIS categories in your service plan. Hypno-Link services available to NDIS participants include:

• specialised counselling,
• therapeutic skill development programs
• social programs with artistic explorations
• mindfulness and relaxation therapy
• clinical hypnotherapy
• home and garden support services (i.e. gardening services, maintenance and domestic support).

CAPACITY BUILDING SERVICES

1. Individual Programs

Specialised counselling and therapy

Specialised Individual Counselling, Relaxation Therapy and / or Clinical Hypnotherapy, targeting

a) Confidence Building & Management of Anxiety and
b) Chronic Health Conditions.

These specialised programs are available to eligible NDIS participants. Length of program varies subject to situations, with a minimum of 8 sessions of 1-hour duration. For more information please also refer to the service section Mindfulness and Relaxation Therapy and Clinical Hypnotherapy.

NDIS CAPACITY BUILDING CATEGORY: Improved Daily Living / Individual assessment, therapy and / or training for such issues.

Specialised Individual Counselling, Relaxation Therapy or Hypnotherapy for behaviour management.

This program is available to eligible NDIS participants, who exhibit undesirable habits or behaviours of concern, such as hair pulling, nail bitting, overeating, smoking, re-occurrent meltdowns, or continence issues.  Length of therapy varies subject to situation – a minimum of 10 sessions, 1 hour duration. Individual Art of Friendship Program (for teenagers)

Individual Stress, Anxiety and Wellbeing Program – open to people of all ages

Both programs are very similar to their equivalent group programs (see information below), but individual programs have a greater scope to be more individualised to suit unique needs of participants. Each program is provided over 12 one-hour sessions. Please refer to group program information below for further details.

Stress Management and Training for Carers.

This program facilitates growth, personal acceptance and development of personal resources for stress management. It also explores strategies for positive behaviour management.  The participants will explore a wide variety of strategies for self-nurturing and supporting their emotional health.  The program encourages exchange of stories, ideas and coping strategies in a friendly, mutually supportive environment.

Minimum number of participants is 2 and maximum 4. The group runs for 1.5 hour on a fortnightly basis for 10 weeks (in school terms).

3. Support Coordination

Support Coordination.

Support coordination by Hypno-Link involves coordination of services in partnership with participants and their families.  Our range of service coordination services includes such activities as: assisting you to identify your needs and supports required, referrals to services and community organisations, sourcing allied health and support staff and providing information about a wide range of community supports, events and activities. We support NDIA managed, Plan Manager managed and self-managed NDIS participants in getting the best out of their service plan.

Support Coordination funds are usually provided on top of your existent funds to assist you in connecting to relevant services, to support your needs.  We welcome inquiries from both participants with and without support coordination listed in their NDIS plan.  We are happy to meet with you to explore how you can be best supported in your specific situation.

To ensure capacity building, all participants at Hypno-Link are fully consulted and involved in the coordination processes, subject to their capacity level. They are supported in self directing and managing their own supports

You will receive support with planning of your services. You will have full choice and control of the services and providers that you use whilst the support coordinator to help you to navigate the NDIS portal, find support services and community groups and link to them. We will support you with:

  1. Defining your specific needs and services that may be able to address them
  2. Finding out about the NDIS processes and trouble shooting
  3. Exploring and sourcing relevant community service providers to support your needs
  4. Linking to informal, mainstream and community supports
  5. Learning to coordinate your supports
  6. Accessing specialised intervention programs (eligibility criteria apply
  7. Preparing for NDIS planning and plan review sessions

1. Social and Recreational Groups

The Weekend Club Group Program

This is a weekend relaxation and artistic exploration group program, encompassing group conversations, relaxation, and craft activities.  Different activities will be trailed at each session.  The purpose of the group is to improve self-confidence, emotional wellbeing and social interaction skills in a friendly and supportive environment.  The groups run for 2 hours on weekends on a fortnightly basis.  Minimum number of participants is 6 – maximum 8. Relaxation & Chat Program

This is a mutual support chat and friendship program for participants of all ages who wish to share ideas about how to improve their wellbeing. The participants will share stories and ideas, support each other, explore their unique strengths and talents. The participants will also be encouraged to participate in simple relaxation techniques to relieve stress and assist positive outlook. Minimum number of participants is 6 and maximum 8.  The Program runs for 2 hours on weekends on a fortnightly basis.  It is open for participants of all ages. My Garden Makeover Program

This 8 weeks, 2 hour a week program involves working in partnership with participants in co-designing and co-implementing simple garden makeover projects. Basic Home Maintenance

This program involves assistance with basic maintenance tasks, which clients are unable to do themselves. This may include such tasks as changing globes, tightening the handles or door knobs, changing the battery in a smoke detector etc. In other words, this program offers an assistance with minor household tasks, which do not require a specialised assistance from a trades person.  If you would like to receive more information, please email us

SPECIAL CONDITIONS: Participants are asked to supply products that are to be used during the handyman visit (i.e. globes, batteries etc).

Home Organisation & Organisational Maintenance Services – Home Organisation is a short term 8 visit program of 2-hours duration, assisting with a basic re-organisation of the participant’s living areas. The aim is to create more space to allow the participant a freer access to their living areas. The staff work together with participants, to neatly segregate and sort out the household items, clearing the living space to improve the overall access in the participant’s living environment. The goal is to re-organise a maximum of 2-3 rooms / living areas.

Tasks, such as vacuuming, moping or dusting are not a part of Home Organisation service but can be provided separately a part of co-existent domestic support service (see information below).

Following the Home Organisation Program certain participants may be eligible for once a week Organisational Maintenance visits to assist in monitoring, maintaining and up keeping a safer living environment. If you would like to receive more information, please email us

NDIS3Domestic Support

This service is provided to participants who are unable to independently engage in domestic responsibilities. Support can be provided for the following tasks: sweeping and mopping the floors, vacuuming, washing, cleaning the bathroom, toilet and kitchen areas etc. Please click on the link below to receive your copy of Hypno-Link information sheet with further details.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS: Participants are asked to supply the cleaning equipment for the worker to use during the home visit (i.e. mops, vacuum cleaners, brooms, brushes etc). Please note this is not an industrial clean service and will not be provided in hazardous situations or where there are serious Occupational Health and Safety concerns..

Intensive Clean

This is a twice a year services that will be provided to eligible participants who struggle with intensive cleaning tasks. This service involves intensive cleaning activities, such as pressure cleaning, window cleaning, clearing of the cobwebs, curtain washing, oven cleaning, and so forth. SPECIAL CONDITIONS: Participants are asked to supply some cleaning equipment for the worker to use during the home visit (i.e. Mops, vacuum cleaners, brooms, brushes and cleaning products). More specialised cleaning equipment such as pressure cleaner will be provided by staff member. This is not an industrial clean and will not be provided in hazardous situations or where there are serious Occupational Health and Safety concerns.

PLEASE NOTE:

Participants enrolled in individual and group programs who may require a personal assistance with toileting or mobility during the clinic based Hypno-Link session, are encouraged to attend with their support person.

Unless specified otherwise, and with the exception of most house and garden support services, the participants enrolling in Hypno-Link programs need to be able to focus on tasks and follow simple instructions.
